Rue The Daymarks my debut as a filmmaker, a project I wrote and directed following my formal training at NYFA. The film garnered significant recognition at the academy, earning high praise from professors and peers alike for its meticulous direction, immersive sound design, and striking cinematography.
❝Amidst a town plagued by mysterious misfortunes, Gaurav, a framed archer facing a lifetime ban, contemplates a drastic act prompted by a tycoon. However, guided by his late mother’s wisdom, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery and redemption, challenging the society that betrayed him.❞
Following Rue The Day, I wrote and directed my second short film, Phoenix, as a bold exploration of my film making prowess. The film was acquired by Hungama OTT, a Disney India partner, and received significant recognition at the festival run.

The Last Vigil, a feature-length adaptation of Rue the Day, marks my debut feature-length film. Executed as a SAG-AFTRA-compliant production, the film assembled a distinguished cast, including Brett Cullen(The Dark Knight, Joker), Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black), and Hunter Michael Kohl, with whom I previously collaborated on my first short film, Rue The Day. Produced on a budget of under half a million dollars, the film is currently making its rounds on the festival circuit and is set for release on a highly reputed OTT platform in 2025.
